What's Going On5:00 AMDollie Simpson
Hello friends! I just wanted to throw up a quick post to let you all know what has been going on. It has been a little quiet around here, but for good reason. Last month we went to Cancun for ten days, and when we came back we were pretty tired. Then just a few weeks later we left for New Orleans to cover The Ponderosa Stomp. We got back last week and are just getting back into the swing of things around here.
You may have noticed some changes around the site, like a new design and such. I am still working on perfecting it, but I am happy with it so far. I also started a new forum that we are all trying to get going, called The Rockabilly Community. It has been a lot of fun already! I also finally got a new laptop, one that actually has a battery. That should make blogging much easier!
You can expect a lot of posts in the next month or so, as I have a lot of catching up to do before the holidays. I know I posted about The Nashville Boogie. But did I tell you that right after that I dyed my hair pink? Yeah! I love it a lot. I also have been going to a ton of rock shows, which have been a lot of fun but not content for this blog per se. In other news, I need to update you all on Rockin' Luau weekender, Ink N Iron, The Ponderosa Stomp and our trip to Mexico. Expect lots of photos! In the mean time, we still do up to date event coverage in every issue of Vintage Rock Magazine. You can subscribe online to print or digital, or pick it up at Barnes and Noble!

We are also in the process of making some BIG life changes. If you are a long time reader, you will know about my ongoing battle with depression. This has affected my life in many ways, but also made new things clear to me. We are hoping a big change of scenery will help lift my spirits. I will have lots more info coming to you about that in the next few months, but for now I am selling a lot of clothing, housewares, etc on my Instagram (which I changed the name of). We also are going to be doing some of the last photo shoots in the house, so contact me if you want to book it!
Anyway, just wanted to throw up these crazy updates.
