We are finally ready to share our trip to Nashville for the Nashville Boogie. We are late in writing about it because I (Dollie) loved Nashville so much that I was totally bummed out when I came back, and couldn't bare to look at the photos or start working on this post. It's been over a month now and I am just coming back to reality. I totally left a piece of my heart in Tennessee!
We took a red eye to Nashville and arrived Thursday morning. Our friend Angel picked us up at the airport and took us straight to Loveless Cafe. Loveless Cafe has been around since the 1950's when it was a roadside hotel that served up the best chicken and biscuits around. It's basically the home of real southern food so we knew we had to eat there!
The food and drink had us in an afternoon slump so we headed to our hotel for a midday slumber. Well, it wasn't a hotel per se....
We actually stayed on a vintage tour bus downtown. It is owned buy touring musicians who rent it out when they are not on tour. I have never stayed on a tour bus so I was so excited to get the opportunity. It was just as cool as it looks! Too bad we didn't get to drive it around.
Stay tuned for more about our trip to Nashville, and the Boogie. Coming soon!
