Have you seen the new "Dollie Dress" from Rockabillybetties Retro Re-Do? Ginger, the owner and designer of Rockabillybettie's recently sent me the dress she graciously named after me. I couldn't be more pleased with it! The fit is really great. It is not too tight, making it very comfortable. The straps are the perfect length and position. I hate when straps are too long and fall off of your shoulders. The skirt is nice and full and the length is generous without being too long.
For my dress she used the green tiki reproduction Shaheen fabric, but she can make it in four other prints. She knows I love Shaheen! I have one of Rockabillybettie's 40's playsuits in the teal colorway. It is one of my favorites and I get a ton of compliments on it.
On my dress she used silk for the bust detail, and it is truly a beautiful sight! The cut of the bust is perfect, making it alluring but not too revealing. The bodice is also lined and everything is fished really professionally. I can tell Ginger has grown so much as a seamstress in just the amount of time I have known her!
I am so thankful to Rockabillybetties Retro Re-Do for this gorgeous dress. I plan on wearing it to my birthday party next week! I know Ginger of Rockabillybetties is really busy with orders, so make sure you place yours via her Etsy page asap!
