-Continued from my VLV 17 series-
I started off Thursday in a foul mood because I got my times mixed up and I missed some of the bands at Sweetpea's Hooch and Smooch. Yes, missing bands puts me in a foul mood. Luckily for me though, I had a ton of nice people to talk to once I got to the Hooch and Smooch, so that made me feel better.
I wore a vintage fish print dress with matching bolero that I bought at last Viva. Everyone looked great!
Shopping also makes me feel better, so after a whirl around the vintage vendors I was right as rain! The vendors were crazy as always upon opening, but I still managed to get a few things. I got a sheer dress, two novelty print skirts, three pairs of pants, a top, shorts and a two piece play set.
I also got from new Freddie's of Pinewood "Marilyn" jeans from Scott at the Top Stitch Vintage booth. They are the only ones with Freddie's and they go fast, so you have to get them early. These are my new favorite jeans. I am obsessed with them!
Viva has the best vendors, everything from vintage clothing, shoes and accessories to vinyl, CDs, pomade, tiki mugs, lingerie, vintage reproduction clothing and much much more. There are two vendor rooms that are only accessible to 4 day wristband holders (except for short designated times). They are open all day and late into the night, so it's easy to fit shopping in between the bands. Even so, I try and get my shopping in on Thursday so it's one less thing to try and fit into my schedule. Did you buy anything at VLV this year?
Next up: Thursday Night, the official start of VLV!
