Continued from my New England Shake-Up Series...
The New England Shake-Up car show was held on Saturday in the hotel parking lot. The car show was presented by the Kingpins Car Club. Entrance was included with the event wristband, but separate day only tickets were available.
There were some great cars there so I tried to get some pictures for you all. The weather was perfect for the car show- warm with blue skies and some fluffy clouds!
There was quite a few vintage vendors at the car show. I think they might have all been different vendors then the ones in the vendor room as well. I ended up getting a chip and dip bowl to bring home.
There were a few bands, but I can't recall who it was. There was also a snack bar at the car show, which was much appreciated. Over all the car show was not huge, but it was really nice. The location and weather really made it special.
Before changing for the evening I hit the vendor room to see if anything new was put out. I ended up getting a year subscription to Rockabilly Deluxe Magazine. It's a great mag, I recommend you check it out if you haven't yet. I finally had some time to dive deep into the vendor booths, looking at records, show posters and pinup photos.
Then it was time for the main event, the bands! Stay tuned for my post on Saturday night!
