Tiki Dinner Party

11:45 AMDollie DeVille

This summer we have had a ton of dinner parties, one of the most recent ones being a tiki theme. We had Missy (from Technicolor Cutie), Daniel and Chelsea over as guests. It was a simple little dinner party, but I thought I would share the photos with you all.

Since our house is small we like to set up tables outside and entertain there. It's not as crowded or stuffy out there, and the ambiance is nice during summer.

I got these cute little food covers at Home Goods. They have really come in handy! We had an assortment of Polynesian foods: salad, kabobs, Polynesian fried rice in a pineapple, grilled veggies and pineapple, blue corn chips with mango salsa, meat balls and mojitos. This party was in May (before I went vegan) so I was one of my last meat meals. A last supper of sorts?

The table setting. The table cloth was also from Home Goods. I love it! Plates are Fiestaware and tiki mugs are from Frankie's.

I wore a Kamehameha playsuit with matching skirt.

All of the guests dresses in Hawaiian garb. It makes the theme go father, right? I love themes!

I met Chelsea at Viva this year. It turns out she only lives like 15 minutes from me, who would have known?

Missy brought her baby Scarlet too! She is adorable.

Dan approved of the tiki mugs.

Dessert was mango sorbet with coconut macaroons.

Center piece was a Viva Las Vegas tiki mug used as a vase. These tea light holders are also from Home Goods.
My fountain stopped working shortly after this. Looks like I need a new pump. Ce La Vie!

XOXO
