Christmas Entertaining

I had a few dinner parties this Christmas season (I love entertaining!), but today I will just share photos from one of them: when our good friends the Spragues came over! We love having Chris and Sandra over because they are the nicest guests. They always arrive on time (never early or late), they always enjoy whatever we cook and complement us on it, oh, and the also bring beer! So, we have them over often.  

We had an Italian theme, so I made the most delicious antipasto salad: romaine, pepperoni, salami, marinated mozzarella, artichoke hearts, olives, pepperonchinis, croutons, and fresh parmesan.   


For an appetizer we made spicy sausage stuffed mushroom. 

Then main course was spaghetti with homemade meat sauce.

Oh, and there was garlic bread too! 

After dinner we had some drinks and opened gifts. 

Chris got a hillbilly wine glass made out of a mason jar. 

Sandra got a set of red glitter serving dishes. She loves glitter stuff! 

I got a man beater! 

...I mean a rolling pin! It's pink, I love it! 

Such a cute vintage-y gift box full of goodies! 

I got two cute little vintage bee honey holders to add to my new bee collection! 

Then we played a very serious game called Eye Know, very un-seriously. 

I thought I would show you some of the Christmas decoration I had around the house. 



I have a lot of these little vintage pink hand towels that I put out at Christmas, in different sizes and prints!

This was our aluminum tree with color wheel, cardboard fireplace, and other vintage Christmas decor.
