Vacations

Disneyland!

5:53 PMDollie DeVille

Last weekend we went to Disneyland. This was the first time we have been back since the engagement. There was a few new rides we wanted to go on. One was the new Little Mermaid ride:

This is a classic Disneyland ride. You sit in two person clam shells.

Zack and I in our green clam shell.

The whole ride takes place "under water".

The animatronics are very advanced. Ursula's double chin even wiggled when she sings!

This was my favorite part. I love her bow.

King Triton

At the end: They lived happily ever after!

They also changed one ride to be the Silly Symphony Swings, with all of the classic music!

Us being silly on Space Mountain. I am saying "check out this rock!"

The other new ride we went on is the updated Star Tours 3D!

The entrance of the ride seemed the same, just shinier. The main change was in the "movie" part of the ride. Instead of that same old adventure that you always go on, you have a new 3D adventure to watch. One big surprise for me was that Princess Leia came on the screen and said that they had planted a "rebel spy" aboard the ship, and that that person had to arrive safely. Then my picture appeared on the big screen! I was the rebel spy! It was a lot of fun for sure.

After the ride I saw that I have my own planet: Noble Naboo! (Noble is my real last name!)

I am the Rebel Spy!

I am a gangster.

One the way out we stopped at The Mad Hatter. What do you think about this look for my wedding day?

As always, Disneyland was amazing. I can't wait to go back!

XOXO

  1. I am so, so, so, so, so, so sad they changed star tours...But then, I have been a little bitter since my husband and I worked there, haha. Here is a tip, don't work somewhere you want to love forever!
